In Japan, Setsubun is held at the beginning of February.
During Setsubun, people eat ehomaki. Originally, the ehomaki was meant to be eaten up in silence while chanting wishes in one's heart.
Nowadays, they are available at convenience stores around Setsubun, and can be eaten easily, and have also been developed into rolls and other sweets.
It is likely that one day it will exist as sushi that can be eaten as casually as a hot dog.
